Hello! I am a coming tenure-track Assistant Professor in the School of Government and International Affairs at Kennesaw State University near Atlanta, Georgia. My research primarily centers on the political economy of East Asian countries, with a particular emphasis on China and Japan. Additionally, I investigate the causal effects of nationalism on various political and economic dynamics. At present, I am working on a book manuscript that explores the interplay between nationalism and China's economic modernization. I am also actively engaged in collaborative research focused on China's strategies for globalization and its industrial policies. Most recently, I have initiated a new research project that employs mixed methods to analyze the connection between nationalism and online disinformation within the Chinese context.
